Position: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Location: Durango, CO preferred. Remote in the West o.k.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to come in and hit the ground running as an essential member on our marketing team! The ideal candidate will be analytical, creative, and demonstrate strong communication skills. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and growing our DTC and Amazon channels through email, digital and affiliate as well as manage website content and projects to ensure we are meeting deadlines. The right person for this position will need to be able to roll up their sleeves and dive into reporting, analytics and consumer insights while also using that information to come up with creative campaigns and content ideas to drive brand awareness. This position will work closely with the Director of Marketing.

This is a full-time, Exempt, Monday - Friday position.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content strategy is aligned across email, social, web and retail
  • Work with our development team on website edits and landing page creation ensuring that all content and creative is up to date and aligned with brand standards
  • Manage Amazon agency as well as product listings and product page updates
  • Build and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Manage, mentor and lead a team of three
  • Promote Tailwind Nutrition and connect with new customers using digital marketing
  • Manage marketing projects creating timelines and ensuring the team hits key deadlines
  • Report and present KPIs across digital, social, web and email
  • Manage affiliate strategy, growth, relationships and overall performance
  • Work closely with design team to ensure all assets produced are in line with brand guidelines and voice
  • Lead projects successfully within the parameters and time constraints assigned


Requirements

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
  • 2 + years of relevant marketing experience
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms such as Google ads, Facebook ads, Bing ads and Google Analytics
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Able to learn computer functions, systems and on-the-job skills
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to change
  • 1 – 2 years in a Supervisory role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Works well in a collaborative team environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience within the outdoor industry
  • Experience with email service providers and ecommerce platforms
  • 1+ years project management experience

Salary Range: $70k - $85k Depending on experience
